Iron Removal Plant
Specialized filtration systems that effectively remove dissolved iron and manganese from bore well and ground water sources.
How It Works
Excess iron in water causes reddish-brown staining, metallic taste, and clogging of pipes and fixtures. Our iron removal plants use aeration followed by catalytic media filtration to oxidize dissolved ferrous iron (Fe2+) into insoluble ferric iron (Fe3+), which is then trapped in the filter bed. The system handles iron concentrations up to 15 PPM and also removes manganese and hydrogen sulphide. The filter media is regenerated through periodic backwashing, requiring no chemicals in most applications.

Why Choose Our Solution
Catalytic Oxidation
Manganese dioxide coated media catalytically oxidizes iron for efficient removal without chemicals.
Aeration System
Built-in aeration tower or venturi system ensures thorough oxidation of dissolved iron.
Chemical-Free Process
No permanganate or chlorine dosing required for iron levels up to 10 PPM.
Auto Backwash
Timer-based automatic backwash keeps the filter bed clean and operating at peak efficiency.
Clear Water Output
Removes reddish-brown colour and metallic taste for clean, odour-free water.
